Our story

Garrigosa Studio was built on the belief that
visual storytelling should be precise, crafted and timeless.
Garrigosa Studio was founded in Barcelona in the early nineties by Joan Garrigosa, as a photography practice with one simple idea: the image comes first. Alex Torrens joined shortly after as partner, leading art direction and post-production and the two have run the studio together ever since.
Over the years, the work grew into CGI, retouching and animation. Today, photography, 3D and post all live under the same roof, handled by the same senior team from start to finish.
Boutique by choice. Partner-led since day one. Thirty years in, still the two of them signing off on every final frame.

Four studios. Post-production ten steps away.
Everything under control, from the shoot to the final frame.
Four studios across Barcelona, each built for a different kind of production, from small-scale shoots to large format campaigns. Our main studio, Aribau, sits 10 steps from our post-production team: during any shoot, clients can walk straight across to see post work happening in real time.
