Concept

The campaign imagines a fully electrified city of the future — wind turbines, monorail transit, ABB charging stations built into the architecture — with Formula E cars racing straight through the middle of it. Visible arcs of electricity ripple across each car's bodywork, tying the energy of the race directly to the clean power infrastructure around it.

Production Process

The city, buildings, turbines, monorail, and charging infrastructure were fully built in CGI, then combined with the race cars, matched for lighting, motion blur, and reflections. Electric arc effects were added along each car's surface to visually connect the vehicle and city as one continuous source of power.
