Sky wanted to elevate football’s biggest icons into something almost mythical, treating the ball as a relic and the players as figures worthy of a Renaissance fresco.

Concept

Footballers reimagined as saints and apostles, painted in their club colors instead of ceremonial robes. Footballs become sacred objects: winged like cherubs, falling from the sky as miracles, gathered in a fisherman's net like a biblical catch. Each tableau borrows straight from classical religious painting divine light beams, floating cliffside landscapes, and golden hour skies to turn football devotion into literal iconography.
